Learn to plan, design, and assemble your own zines and comics! This instructor-led class will build skills in the foundations of sequential artwork and comics through cooperative drawing games and mini-projects. We will learn about composition and layout, character design, writing for sequential storytelling, and multiple formats for zine design and construction. By the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to work on a longer-form project of their own devising. All drawing skill levels are welcome. Art Club is an instructor-led process art class designed to let kids explore art through a variety of mediums and techniques. We create sculptures and collages using materials like clay, paper mache, cardboard, fabric, fiber and other sculpting tools. Students will also have the opportunity to explore various artistic mediums such as pastels, charcoal, watercolor, and mixed media. Classes are charged monthly. Join and drop anytime.
